AIR CANADA IMPLEMENTS NEW TRAVEL DATA REQUIREMENTS
Further to our recent communication on the Secure Flight Program, Air Canada is the next carrier to implement these requirements, and have recently announced that for all bookings made after October 31, 2009 they will be required by the TSA (Transportation Security Administration) to collect Secure Flight Passenger Information.
In an ongoing effort to update travel profiles with the required information we encourage travelers to provide Travel Resources with this information in advance of booking. If we do not have the information our travel consultants will ask at the time of reservation and update your profile. If the information is not provided at time of reservation it will be the responsibility of the traveler to provide the information to Air Canada prior to departure.
